Eco-Politics: Economic Recovery Bill Signed
On February 13, 2009 Congress signed the Economic Recovery Bill as a result some 3.5 million jobs will be either saved or created. Of this 789 billion dollar package, 500 million dollars has been allotted to green jobs training. This is a huge victory for nonprofit organizations like Green For All and others that campaigned diligently for the necessary reinvestment into our youth, communities and earth. Be sure to submit your suggestions on the action to be taken in ensuring that the environmental and economic recovery of our nation is realized.
